October 26th, 2021, 8:30pm EST
On October 2, the front row of the Aga Khan Museum’s auditorium will be filled with glowing wax candles honouring our loved ones.
We invite you to dedicate a real wax candle to someone in your life you would like to honour. Many of us have lost loved ones in recent years, and we all know someone who deserves to have a light shone upon them.
Anyone anywhere can dedicate a candle to a loved one and their name will appear on a card tied to one of the candles lighting the stage from the front row. If you are attending the show in person, you can take the candle home with you. If you are watching the show online, we can ship the candle to you anywhere in the world. It’s a simple and beautiful way to honour and celebrate someone in your life and a keepsake you can treasure forever.
- $35 per candle
- 50% of proceeds donated to Flemingdon Food Bank
- Placed in front fow (row) of (the) Aga Khan Museum’s auditorium on October 2, 2021 during the live-streamed performance of Women in Song: Strange Darlings.
- Candle is made from real wax and is electric “flickering flameless wax” and AAA battery powered. (Will come with batteries in it)
- Candle can be shipped anywhere in the world after the performance (shipping cost additional).
FabCollab Supports WATER FIRST
To help address water challenges in Indigenous communities in Canada through education, training and meaningful collaboration.
Everyone has a right to safe, clean water. The water crisis in Indigenous communities in Canada is unacceptable. Skills training is critical to building sustainable solutions to water challenges in First Nations communities. Collaborative programs with First Nations communities should integrate Indigenous values, knowledge, customs and traditions at every opportunity.
