A co-production by two of Toronto’s monthly flamenco series’, LA CUEVA: Flamenco Underground and Tablao Flamenco Toronto, this exciting performance features two of Canada’s youngest professional flamenco dancers, Toronto’s Makeda Benitez and Vancouver’s Kirill Deljanin, presenting new choreographic works. Accompanying the dance are celebrated Toronto singer Shirlita “La Pili,” legendary Toronto guitarist Nicolas Hernández, and Seville-based percussionist Dani Carbonell. F for Familia is the joyful finale of the festival – a celebration of community and the art that binds us together.
